Half A Year Old

Noah is 6 months old today! Wow! It is so hard to believe! My how time flies. I can't believe we are less than 2 weeks away from Thanksgiving and a little over a month until Christmas. It just doesn't seem possible. Anyway, back to Noah. He is 6 months old. Here are a list of Noah's accomplishments in the first 6 months of his life.
  • smiling/cooing/laughing
  • recognizing people/sounds
  • holding his head up
  • eating baby food (so far he likes them all!)
  • sitting in his high chair/exersaucer/jumperoo
  • rolling from stomach to back/back to stomach (only to the right, though)
  • his latest accomplishment, his first word: dada

As far as the last accomplishment goes, I have been trying to get him to say mama for a long time. Noah is very verbal. He is always making noises and sounds. So, I have been working with him on saying mama. Noah would always laugh at me. Chris told me it would be very funny if his first words were dada. Sure enough, they were. So, we are still working on the mama. We have very much enjoyed the first 6 months, and look forward to what the next 6 months will bring.
