Update on Chris

I realize this is the 3rd post of the evening, but it has been a while and I have a lot to share. I just wanted to give you a quick update on Chris and his Chron's Disease. Several weeks ago Chris had a flare up and we went in to the doctor. She referred us to another doctor. We tried to get in and the earliest appointment they had was Jan. Chris was in a lot of pain and January wasn't going to work. We had Chris's Chron's doctor call and try to get us in earlier. We got an appointment for Dec. 3. We went and this doctor has decided that Chris needs to have the surgery that he was supposed to have 7 months ago. We are okay with that. We were actually hoping that the doctor would say surgery. So, as of today, Chris is scheduled to have surgery on Jan. 8 to remove a remnant that is housing infection. We are not sure if they will have to do anything else concerning the Chron's or not. We will keep you posted. Please keep Chris and our family in your prayers. Our main prayer right now is that everything will stay on track as far as the surgery is concerned. We are also praying that the doctors will be smart when they get in there and only do what is necessary at this point.
