Just a quick note to let you know Chris is out of surgery, out of recovery and resting comfortably in his room. The surgery went very well. The doctor was able to reverse the illiostomy with no problem and get him put back together. He is not able to eat right now and will have a 3-4 day hospital stay. Once he gets home, he will have about a 3 week recovery period. He is pretty groggy from the anesthesia and pain medicine, but has been alert and talking to us. I will try my best to keep you posted, but can't make any promises. Thanks for the prayers on our behalf. We are not out of the woods yet, so keep them up!
